Grand Banks 22m – Palma de Mallorca to Rome

A very enjoyable passage across on this Grand Banks 22m. She was heading to the shipyard for a major refit, we decided to take and Engineer with to keep an eye on the systems, due to the fact that Mains and Generators had not been serviced, with all the relevant spares on board we set off. We topped up the tanks in Porto Colom and then headed towards the Straits of Bonifacio. Being Winter, the med was quiet traffic wise. We were treated to an amazing double rainbow sunset and loads of Dolphins!

Craig the Captain did a fantastic job managing the passage and also a very complicated berthing process a few miles up the Tibre river.

Note to self, buy more thermals for winter deliveries!
