It feels like its early in the season, but in honesty, we’re well overdue being back out on the water. Here’s a couple of photos of our delivery of a Targa 47 to Andratx, Mallorca. We took charge of the handover on the owners’ request, due to them not being able to be here because of covid restrictions. She was in decent condition despite having had a long winter without attention. The owners were desperate to get her to Andratx and under our care.

Our pre-delivery checklist identified a basic but very important problem. No engine oil! The engines had been serviced and were ‘ready to go’ but somehow this basic had been missed during, we assume, covid confusion! The servicing company was quick to admit their mistake as well as correct it.

After a seatrial we were happy to make the short delivery to Andratx. Keeping a vigilant eye on temperatures and pressures we made good way, whilst also logging performance numbers and videos to pass on to her new owners.

We were welcomed into Andratx by two marineros, obviously happy to have something to do after two tough months!

Safely tied up and in our care, the owner is hoping to look at chartering her in the future. watch this space!
